Whether you’re lubricating car, trailer, or truck wheel bearings, or servicing agricultural equipment operating under wet and severe conditions, LGWG 3 delivers excellent thermal stability and water resistance across an operating temperature range of –30°C to +140°C, with intermittent performance up to 150°C.

Excellent High-Temperature Lubrication:

LGWG 3 is extremely thermally stable, delivering excellent lubrication at continuous operating temperatures up to 140°C (284°F) and withstanding peak temperatures up to 150°C (302°F) for short periods — exactly the conditions generated in wheel bearings behind disc brakes. Dropping point: >185°C (DIN ISO 2176).

Superior Water Resistance & Corrosion Protection:

Formulated for wet-condition performance, LGWG 3 provides effective lubrication in wet conditions along with excellent water resistance (DIN 51 807/1: 1* rating) and corrosion protection (Emcor standard ISO 11007: 0–0; water wash-out: 0–0). Copper corrosion rating: 1* max. at 130°C (DIN 51 811).

Protection Under Severe Operating Conditions:

The special lithium thickener combined with a mineral oil base protects wheel bearings operating under severe conditions, including exposure to road spray, mud, and variable industrial or agricultural environments.

Mechanical & Structural Stability:

LGWG 3 maintains its NLGI Grade 3 consistency under prolonged mechanical working (roll stability: 285* after 50 hrs at 80°C) and resists oil separation (1–2% per DIN 51 817), reducing re-lubrication frequency for fleet and maintenance operations.

Long Rolling Bearing Grease Life:

In ROF testing, LGWG 3 achieves a minimum L50 life of 1,000 hours at 130°C and 10,000 rpm, reflecting reliable long-term performance in high-speed automotive wheel bearing applications.
