Mineral Circles Bearings’ (MCB) successful collaboration with Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority (Jafza) has once again cemented 20 years of strengthened business relationship through the recently concluded Automechanika Frankfurt 2016, the largest automotive aftermarket event worldwide.
This five-day biennial trade fair which started from the 13th of September 2016 in Frankfurt, Germany was attended by 4,820 exhibitors and 136,000 visitors from 76 countries. Automotive experts and enthusiasts witnessed first-hand the latest products and technologies that could shape tomorrow’s business.
The MCB team which was headed Chairman and Founder Amar Ridha, along with Marketing Director Hassanein Alwan, and Iraq Branch Manager Yousif Alwan, found its participation in the pioneering Jafza stand during the trade fair as memorable since it coincides with the company’s 20th anniversary in the free zone.
Ridha said, “It was good for Jafza to have invited its clients like MCB to participate in their first ever Automechanika Frankfurt pavilion as this conveyed mutual support in trade relations. This too has opened doors of opportunities to Jafza-based companies to showcase their product innovations and technical know-how to the European market.”
Hassanein Alwan, MCB’s Marketing Director, meanwhile dubbed Automechanika Frankfurt as the meeting hub of automotive professionals where visitors tend to meet fellow visitors, making it distinct from other trade shows. He cited as well notable product launches intended for the European client base by leading bearing manufacturers NSK who unveiled ProKIT, its first independent aftermarket product comprising of wheel bearing hubs, seals, and fasteners as well as NTN-SNR who presented two ranges which are constant- velocity (CV) joint and bearings for transmission.
Like the Chairman, Alwan commended Jafza whose operational initiatives brought about the gathering of its well established automotive clients, resulting to a better understanding of one another’s core businesses. “As an added value, they gave an opportunity to companies with limited marketing resources to promote their products and services in a massive and diversified audience,” he stated.
When asked if MCB will once again join forces with Jafza in Automechanika Frankfurt 2018, Alwan confirms the company’s intent to support as this will further strengthen trade relations established since 1996.
